About me
I am a current affairs journalist for Te Ao With Moana at Māori TV. I have a passion for te reo Māori and for telling Māori news stories. My previous roles at Māori TV include being a digital prodcuer, multi-media journalist and a co-presenter for the midday news show, Rereātea. I was also an Assignments Editor for Te Kāea news. I have also worked on the news desk at TV One News and online journalist at TVNZ. Outside of my full-time work as a journalist, I am the founder and director of Brave Charitable Trust, a charity supporting young people affected by sexual violence. I am also the former Miss World New Zealand 2018.
