About me
Denise is a writer, director, and script supervisor. She holds a degree in Film, TV & Media Studies and English from The University of Auckland, with additional qualifications as a certified English and drama teacher. Denise wrote and directed the short films Therapy, Taniwha, and Mōrearea. She also co-wrote and co-directed the documentary Between Two Ears along with the short films Loose End, Sacrifarce, and R.A.W.W. in collaboration with the Great Lake Film Society. Her work as a script supervisor includes the feature films Ka Whawhai Tonu and Mārama, as well as TV series such as End of the Valley, Kairakau II, and Beyond the Veil.
