Vanessa Patea

I’m a documentary director and a content producer. I have directed short social documentaries including Last Home Renters and Tapu te Ranga Marae and Te Reo Rangatira - Glenis Hiria Philip-Barbara. A career highlight was co-producing on LOKO - An 8 episode documentary series for NZ Herald filmed in my hometown of Titirangi in West Auckland. In film, I have worked in production, art department co-ordination, casting and location management. I’ve got an arts background and can take beautiful production photographs on set (bonus!).
