Kiri Rainey

Hi, I am a costume designer with 30 years in the NZ film and television industry. I am passionate about telling stories through costume. I am a collaborative person working well within a team and am organised and able to stick within a budget. I have a very experienced team of people I work with on most productions as head of department but I'm also highly experienced in coordinating and supervising all aspects of a costume department. Aside from costume I have also worked a lot in the art department. As a buyer, maker and a props master on shows like Power Rangers. I am a competent sewer and am adept at problem solving under pressure, good communicator and while I am not a Maori speaker as I grew up in a pakeha household and lived in the States, Australia as well as NZ in my formative years I AM a Maori woman.
