Born in Te Kūiti and raised in Tāmaki, I bring a nuanced understanding of both rural and metro Māori communities. I spent a decade working across sales, client services, digital marketing, advertising and production at Whakaata Māori (Māori Television) and international production house Screentime NZ. My repertoire of work is extensive and spans local and international campaigns, events and productions, through to Aotearoa’s largest cultural and sporting events and now coordinate the Executive team at Ngā Aho Whakaari-Māori in Screen, facilitating kaupapa that empower all Māori creatives in the screen sector. My value is evident throughout the broadcasting and production industry, where I'm known for my commitment to manaakitanga, whakawhanaungatanga and integrity.
