Whakanuia: Celebrating Māori in Screen
Iwi Māori Unite for Kiingi Tuheitia

Te Ao Pāpāho united during the tangihanga of the late Kiingi Tuheitia, collaborating on the coverage of the week, working in the kitchen, or joining the thousands paying respects.

The coverage led by te Kiingitanga and supported by a unified te ao pāpāho Māori was yet another brilliant example of kotahitanga in action.

As we reflect on the legacy of Kiingi Tuheitia and the amazing work of the Kiingitanga, let's carry forward his vision of kotahitanga in our mahi.

May our stories continue to weave us together.
